Statistics of CQ-M Contest 1999 Contest date: May 8-9, 1999 (CQ-M'98 data is in parenthesis) Total logs received: 502, it is on 23.7% greater than in 1998, was 383 logs, on 39.2% greater than in 1997, was 305 logs. In comparison with 1998, the part of electronic logs (email, floppy disc) increased significantly. The CQ-M Contest Committee received logs: electronic - 210, 42% (20%); paper - 292, 58% (80%). Russian participants sent logs: electronic - 90, 43.9% and paper - 115, 56.1%. Number of logs received from Africa - 2, 0.4% (0.6%); Asia - 113, 22.5% (19%); Europe - 343, 68.3% (74%); N.America - 29, 5.8% (3.8%); S.America - 12, 2.4% (1.9%); Oceania - 3, 0.6% (0.3%). Some decrease of percentage of European logs has been compensated by noticable grough of activity from Asia, North America and South America. Countries activity: 205, 40.8% logs from Russia; 76, 15.1% logs from other countries of CIS; 14, 2.8% logs from Baltic contries; 207, 41.2% logs from the rest world. Activity of Russian stations: European part - 130, 63.4% of Russian logs; Asiatic part - 75, 36.6% of Russian logs. Computer analysis of 191 electronic logs shown 7940 different calls. 1150 of them appear in 10 and more different logs; 1807 calls appear in 3 and more different logs; 4451 "uniqe calls" appear in sigle logs. 311 Russian calls, 170 US calls, 94 Ukraine calls, 12 Belarus calls, and 11 Kazakh calls appear in 10 and more logs.
